Fits MOST vehicles with the 45RFE / 5-45RFE & 68RFE transmissions.

This pan fits many different vehicles that have the 545RFE transmission. Some have not been verified, in some cases the factory exhaust system may interfer with the installation of the PML transmission pan and it may be necessary to modify your exhaust system to clear the PML pan. When placing your order please verify the clearances by crawling under your truck and verifying the dimensions to the pictures we have provided in the product pictures. In most cases it will fit without issue... in some cases you will need to have your exhaust system modified to clear the larger PML pan.

You have two pans to chose from here.
10304 - The first one is the original which is the "DEFAULT" pan. It has 3 1/8 qts. over stock for 2wd, 2 1/2 qts. over stock for 4wd.
11039 ($20.00 OPTION) - This Pan has been modified to hold 4.5 qts. over stock for 2wd, 4 qts. over stock for 4wd

For 68RFE Applications

Vehicles with this new 6 speed 68RFE automatic transmission include the 2007 and newer Dodge Ram 2500 & 3500 trucks with diesel engine. This pan fits both 2 and 4 wheel drive trucks. This pan will not fit the new Ram 3500 HD cab & chassis model which has an Aisin transmission.

This Dodge 68RFE, 545RFE, 45RFE deep transmission oil pan is a direct replacement on these vehicles:

* Ram 2500 & 3500, 2WD and 4WD, with 6.7 liter diesel engine, 2007 and newer (Note that the 3500 HD cab & chassis has the Aisin transmission so this pan will not work and 5.9 liter diesel trucks, need pan part number 9393.)
* Ram 1500 with Hemi engine, 2002 - 2005
* Ram 1500 with 4.7 V8 engine, 2002 and newer
* 2WD Dakota with 4.7 V8 engine, 2000 - 2004
* 2WD Durango with 4.7 V8 engine, 2000 - 2003
* Jeep Grand Cherokee with 4.7 V8 engine, 1999 - 2004

The following vehicles may have interference problems with a larger transmission pan. In some cases, the vehicle can be modified to allow installation:

* Ram 1500 with Hemi engine, 2006 & newer: The stock exhaust may hit a deeper transmission pan. Use dimensions provided below to check your truck for clearance.
* Ram 2500 & 3500 with Hemi engine: The exhaust crossover pipe is routed underneath the back part of the pan instead of in front of it like the 1500. The pipe must be rerouted downwards 1" in order to prevent it from hitting the pan. Click here to see an image of the stock pan and stock exhaust. Aftermarket exhaust systems are routed differently.
* 4WD Dakota 2000 - 2004 and 4WD Durango 2000 - 2003:The frame crossmember behind the transmission pan will interfere with a larger pan.
* Dakota 2005 & newer and Durango 2004 & newer:The frame crossmember behind the transmission pan will interfere with a larger pan.
* Durango with Hemi engine: A catalytic converter in front of and underneath the transmission pan will interfere with a deeper pan.
* Jeep Grand Cherokee with Hemi engine:A catalytic converter in front of and underneath the transmission pan will interfere with a larger pan.
* Jeep Liberty CRD: Requires removal of the factory skid plate, or addition of spacers to move the skid plate downward away from the transmission. Thanks to Stan Wright who purchased part number 10304 for his CRD and then documented his installation. See to read about this install.

For 545RFE, 45RFE Applications

This pan is similar to our Dodge 45RFE, 545RFE, 68RFE tranny pan (part number 11039) but has less capacity, slightly less depth and has a lower price(capacity of 3 1/8 quarts compared to 4 1/2 quarts over stock for 2WD, 1/2 inch to 1 inch less depth). When Dodge decided to use the Hemi trans pan design on the new 6.7 liter diesel powered trucks, we knew that the trucks would see even heavier towing use and designed the deeper pan, part number 11039. Both pans fit the same applications with the same exceptions.

The filter attaches to the valve body (bolt on & spin on), and does not use the pan for support. The pan features internal baffles to direct oil to the filter inlet. Because the baffles keep the oil near the pickup tube, a filter extension is not needed.

PML Transmission Pan Features:
* Increased oil capacity for cooler temperatures
* Sand-cast aluminum with raised fins
* 3/16-inch thick wall construction to add strength to the transmission case
* 3/8-inch thick gasket flange will not bend when bolts are tightened * Machined gasket surface for a secure seal
* Boss cast into pan can be machined for a temperature sensor
* Magnetic drain plug for easier, less messy maintenance
* Mounting hardware provided

Gasket and filter not included (use stock parts).

Volume: 3 1/8 qts. over stock for 2wd, 2 1/2 qts. over stock for 4wd
