IMPORTANT - This kit is intended for both the 4.7L JTEC & NGC engines. Typically the JTEC engines are found in PRE-2003 Jeeps, Rams, Dakotas & Durangos. The NGC engines are found in 2003-UP Jeeps, Rams, Dakotas & Durangos.
The easiest way to identify which engine you have is to locate the PCM and count the plugs. If you have a 3-Plug PCM then you have a JTEC 16-tooth crankshaft tone ring. If you have a 4-plug PCM then you would have the NGC 32-tooth PCM. Please make sure you select either NGC or JTEC PCM so we can insure the correct timing set is shipped with your kit the first time.
These 4.7L rebuild kits only use high-quality, name brand parts such as Federal Mogul, Silvolite, Hastings, Cloyes, Clevite, Topline, Elgin, King, Perfect Circle, and Melling. Our supplier has been remanufacturing quality Gas & Diesel Engines for over 25yrs and they use these exact same parts. They wouldn't offer 3yr/100k (gas) and 3yr/200k (diesel) warranties on their engines if they didn't believe in the quality of these parts.
This kit DOES NOT come with camshaft and lifters. That makes it a REBUILD KIT. If you need camshaft and lifters, then you will want to buy a MASTER KIT.
