This kit is for customers who do NOT need pistons but are still needing a high quality engine rebuild kit with everything needed to complete the job.

Our supplier has been re-manufacturing quality Gas & Diesel Engines for over 25yrs and they use these exact same parts. They wouldn’t offer 3yr/100k (gas) and 3yr/200k (diesel) warranties on their engines if they didn’t believe in the quality of these parts.

We ship a lot of products, and sometimes our inventory changes before updates can be made. Because of that, there are no specific brand requests available, and we hold the right to substitute a part with one of equal or greater quality. We will only ship high quality parts that we ourselves use in our repairs and our personal vehicles. We don’t mess around with cheap stuff, it’s a waste of our time and yours.

CRANKSHAFT TONE RINGS – Make ANY 1999-2013 4.7L work on ANY year block by changing the crankshaft tone ring!

With our AIRRAM crankshaft tone rings you can take ANY 2003-2013 engine and install it into your 1999-2002 vehicles or put any 1999-2002 engines and install it into any 2003-2007 vehicles! All you need to do is swap in the correct 16-tooth or 32-tooth crankshaft tone ring to match the PCM (NGC or JTEC)operating the vehicle and it will run as long as the correct camshaft tone ring is used of course!

Here is how it works –

JTEC = 3=PLUG PCM + 16-TOOTH CRANKSHAFT TONE RING + MATCHING PASSENGERS SIDE CAMSHAFT TONE RING.

NGC = 4=PLUG PCM + 32-TOOTH CRANKSHAFT TONE RING + MATCHING PASSENGERS SIDE CAMSHAFT TONE RING.

Its important that you use the correct camshaft tone ring with engine as they do NOT interchange and they are specific to the PCM’s as well. Easiest way to get it right is to re-use the passengers side cam sprocket/tone ring that came with the engine you are replacing. OR use the correct timing set up for the YEAR of that vehicle.

Example: You can NOT use the Camshaft tone ring from a 2007 NGC engine on a 1999 JTEC engine. If you do it will NOT run!

Our Crank Shaft Tone Rings allow you to pick any 1999-2007 engine and replace what ever year your needing to replace simply by changing out the tone ring to match your PCM!
