- Rod bearings and Main Bearings are available at no extra cost. Please specify sizes needed at checkout. Otherwise the kit will ship with standard sizes.
Example: You can NOT use the Camshaft tone ring from a 2007 NGC engine on a 1999 JTEC engine. If you do it will NOT run! Our CrankShaft Tone Rings allow you to pick any 1999-2007 engine and replace what ever year your needing to replace simply by changing out the tone ring to match your PCM!If you need more help please feel free to contact us.
This kit is intended for both the 4.7L JTEC & NGC engines. Typically the JTEC engines are found in PRE-2003 Jeeps, Rams, Dakotas & Durangos. The NGC engines are found in 2003-UP Jeeps, Rams, Dakotas & Durangos. Customer must verify their year make model.
Make ANY 1999-2013 4.7L work on ANY year block by changing the crankshaft tone ring!
With our AIRRAM crankshaft tone rings you can take ANY 2003-2013 engine and install it into your 1999-2002 vehicles or put any 1999-2002 engines and install it into any 2003-2007 vehicles! All you need to do is swap in the correct 16-tooth or 32-tooth crankshaft tone ring to match the PCM (NGC or JTEC)operating the vehicle and it will run as long as the correct camshaft tone ring is used of course!
How to determine what tone ring you have at a glance:
- JTEC = 3=PLUG PCM has 16-TOOTH CRANKSHAFT TONE RING + MATCHING PASSENGERS SIDE CAMSHAFT TONE RING.
- NGC = 4=PLUG PCM has 32-TOOTH CRANKSHAFT TONE RING + MATCHING PASSENGERS SIDE CAMSHAFT TONE RING.
