ENGINE REBUILD KIT – COMPLETE w/ PISTONS – 4.7L JTEC & NGC

This is a Complete Engine Rebuild Kit with high quality pistons. These kits includes all the necessary parts to completely rebuild your engine. Your choice of Base 9:1cr or 10:1cr H/O pistons… We can set your base 4.7L with H/O (10:1cr) pistons for an increase bump in performance!

These 4.7L rebuild kits only use high-quality, name brand parts such as Federal Mogul, Silvolite, Hastings, Cloyes, Clevite, Topline, Elgin, King, Perfect Circle, and Melling. Our supplier has been remanufacturing quality Gas & Diesel Engines for over 25yrs and they use these exact same parts. They wouldn’t offer 3yr/100k (gas) and 3yr/200k (diesel) warranties on their engines if they didn’t believe in the quality of these parts.
Full Gasket set includes:

  • 2x – CYL HEAD GSKT
  • 2x – EXH MANIFOLD GSKT
  • 1x – TIMING COVER SEAL
  • 8x – INT MANIFOLD GSKT
  • 4x – MISC “O” RING
  • 1x – REAR MAIN SEAL
  • 1x – THROTTLE BODY GSKT
  • 1x – TIMING COVER GSKT
  • 2x – VALVE COVER GSKT
  • 16x – VALVE STEM SEAL
  • 1x – WATER PUMP GSKT

NOTES:

  • Oil pan gasket NOT included. (Must be added for additional cost)
  • This kit DOES NOT come with camshaft and lifters
  • Rod bearings and Main Bearings are available at no extra cost. Please specify sizes needed at checkout. Otherwise the kit will ship with standard sizes.

Its important that you use the correct “crankshaft” tone ring with its corresponding “camshaft” tone ring with engine as they do NOT interchange and they are specific to the PCM’s as well. The easiest way to get it right is to re-use the passengers side cam sprocket/tone ring that came with the engine you are replacing. OR insure you order the correct timing set up for the YEAR of that vehicle. If you use the wron

Example: You can NOT use the Camshaft tone ring from a 2007 NGC engine on a 1999 JTEC engine. If you do it will NOT run! Our CrankShaft Tone Rings allow you to pick any 1999-2007 engine and replace what ever year your needing to replace simply by changing out the tone ring to match your PCM!If you need more help please feel free to contact us.

This kit is intended for both the 4.7L JTEC & NGC engines. Typically the JTEC engines are found in PRE-2003 Jeeps, Rams, Dakotas & Durangos. The NGC engines are found in 2003-UP Jeeps, Rams, Dakotas & Durangos. Customer must verify their year make model.

Make ANY 1999-2013 4.7L work on ANY year block by changing the crankshaft tone ring!

With our AIRRAM crankshaft tone rings you can take ANY 2003-2013 engine and install it into your 1999-2002 vehicles or put any 1999-2002 engines and install it into any 2003-2007 vehicles! All you need to do is swap in the correct 16-tooth or 32-tooth crankshaft tone ring to match the PCM (NGC or JTEC)operating the vehicle and it will run as long as the correct camshaft tone ring is used of course!

How to determine what tone ring you have at a glance:

  • JTEC = 3=PLUG PCM has 16-TOOTH CRANKSHAFT TONE RING + MATCHING PASSENGERS SIDE CAMSHAFT TONE RING.
  • NGC = 4=PLUG PCM has 32-TOOTH CRANKSHAFT TONE RING + MATCHING PASSENGERS SIDE CAMSHAFT TONE RING.
The easiest way to identify which engine you have is to locate the PCM and count the plugs. If you have a 3-Plug PCM then you have a JTEC 16-tooth crankshaft tone ring. If you have a 4-plug PCM then you would have the NGC 32-tooth PCM. Please make sure you select either NGC or JTEC PCM so we can insure the correct timing set is shipped with your kit the first time.
