Studio 98 – SCAM WEBSITE DEVELOPERS! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!

If you don’t want to waste your time reading this, the bottom line is that Studio98 is a FRAUD WEBSITE DEVELOPER COMPANY!  Don’t be duped by the bait and switch like I was.

I normally go out of my way to give positive feedback of the organizations who we interact with, most are hard working honest companies who work hard and are deserving of positive reviews.  Word of mouth is the absolute best type of advertising, It brings me no pleasure in airing out this dirty laundry on our site however its the only option we have at this point.  Studio98 deserves every bit of negative feedback they receive!

Studio98 is a scam company and a horrible to work with.  The issues are countless and have only piled up over the past 13 months its taken for them to deliver a website riddled with issues. Its been an absolute disaster from the first day.  Lots of promises and excuses, ultimately added up to a very expensive mistake on our end. We should have pulled the plug on their scam operation 10 months ago however kept buying their excuses and let them string us along. We remained hopeful and optimistic, both are emotions that business should never rely on! We where assured that this project would take no longer than 3 months, now over 13 months later, we realize that we had been duped out of over 6500 bucks and have a website riddled with issues that need immediate attention!

Studio 98 over promises and severely under delivers. Saying they under deliver just does not remotely encompass how bad of a company this is to deal with. Lets just say, quality is not a word in their vocabulary. You will be better off hiring a couple kids in their moms basement trying to raise bubble gum money!

Studio98 will take your money and fail to remotely deliver what they promised to deliver.  Then blame you for their inability to deliver a quality product and the issues they create.  They will pull a bait and switch by showing you websites that they claim to have built.  Once you chose the site you like based on the bait sites they show you, they will take the first payment up front and drag out the process for over 12 months.  By the time the dust settles, they give you NOTHING close to what they claimed to be able to build and then just leave you hanging with a half ass website that you will need to hire another company to come in to clean up and fix on day one. They literally built a website that requires repair, its their built-in job security!  After the first few months, they even deleted the bait website so there was no proof it even existed, and they all claim amnesia that site even existed or even how to recreate it.

Studio98 refuses to fix the errors suggesting that we would need to pay them more money to fix the brand-new site that they built… can’t make this up!

Studio 98 has been an absolute nightmare to work with!  Our old site was built by a couple of teenagers in a basement back in 2007 was more reliable and had very few issues over the 15 years it was in operation.  It was built using MySQL PHP and had fewer issues in 15 years than this current site Studio 98 delivered on its first day.  Unfortunately Studio 98 took so long to complete the new site, the old site ran out of server time… we where forced to accept this new site and that’s when Studio98 turned up their scam tactics and began refusing to correct or fix the built in issues they had created.

Studio 98 lacks the talent and abilities to build the site you request; They are dishonest, and are completely incapable of building a quality site that is not riddled with issues needing their “paid subscription maintenance plan”.   They build sites with issues so you get stuck paying them for continuous repairs. That’s the scam! They build mediocre websites with the intent of picking the pockets of their unsuspecting customers on maintenance and repairs that are all intentionally built into the cake.

I cant say this enough, what they do is give you the site they want to because they lack the skills of real professional website developers to do anything else. Don’t be duped by the bait sites they pretend to have built for other customers!!! Most of the websites they show you are in-op and not even in use! That should have been the first clue. They do not have any real websites within their portfolio to even show.
